Mathew Lebowitz

Mathew Lebowitz is a designer, technophile, and obsessive Futurist, partner in a hybrid global mobile app development agency ( and writer of literary/speculative fiction that explores the human relationship with increasingly sophisticated machines and AI. He received an MFA in fiction from the University of Iowa where he was mentored by Ethan Canin and Jim McPherson and was selected co-editor of the Iowa Short Fiction Award. His stories have appeared in Press, Pequod, Confrontation, The Baffler, and other magazines. His longer work is represented by Nell Pierce and Laurie Liss at Sterling Lord Literistic, and he has a speculative novel on submission through that agency. He lives in Amherst, Massachusetts.
