Sarah Maxfield

Sarah Maxfield is a queer, disabled storyteller with deep roots in dance. Her story “Buried Treasure” placed 2nd in Voyage YA's Lucky No. 7 Contest, and she was also a recent semifinalist in a flash fiction contest hosted by Cast of Wonders. Maxfield has also contributed a short story to Queer Beasties, a YA anthology of queer monster stories, forthcoming from Running Press in 2024. She lives with her family and their imaginary cat in Lenapehoking (Brooklyn).
